One-on-One Social Walks These walks offer the same foundation as group social walks, with a more individualized and controlled approach. Designed for dogs who need additional support, these sessions provide a calmer environment with fewer variables, allowing your dog to process and move through real-life situations at a pace they can handle. ✨Why This Works Most dogs struggle in public environments because they feel overwhelmed. Whether your dog is reactive, nervous, overexcited, or unsure, one-on-one social walks provide a structured setting where learning can happen with clarity and without added pressure. With fewer variables, your dog has more space to observe, regulate, and build confidence. As your dog begins to feel safer and more understood, stress decreases. Communication becomes clearer, and walks become more manageable. Over time, this carries into daily life — from calmer movement on leash to more stable behaviour at home. You learn how to read your dog and respond earlier. Your dog learns what to expect. How It Works 📅Step 1: Meet & Match (15 minutes) A short introductory session to assess your dog’s comfort level and determine the most appropriate setup, including whether sessions should begin one-on-one or include my dog Tater. Step 2: Book Your Walks Walks are tailored to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring the environment supports regulation and learning for both dog and guardian. Each session includes time for questions and guidance, supporting not just leash skills, but your overall understanding of your dog. What Makes These Walks Different These are not traditional pack walks. Each session is adapted to your dog’s emotional state, pace, and communication, allowing for learning without pressure and without overwhelming exposure. Sessions take place either one-on-one with me, or with my dog Tater when appropriate, depending on your dog’s comfort level and needs. Locations are selected based on your dog’s comfort level and may include Lakeview, Port Credit, Oakville, and surrounding areas. Additional Information Sliding scale pricing is available for clients experiencing financial constraints.
