Behavioral Assessment 📍 Location: Trainer facility — West Avenue, Lakeview (Mississauga) 💛 Sliding scale & reduced rates Sliding scale pricing is available for clients experiencing financial hardship or limited resources. Reduced rates are also available for approved rescue and return clients. Overview This behavioral assessment focuses on creating meaningful, practical change by identifying why a behavior is happening. Lasting improvement comes from addressing the underlying drivers—such as stress, unmet needs, learning history, environment, and physical comfort—rather than focusing on the behavior in isolation. 👀 During the session, I observe your dog in a neutral, low-pressure environment and assess how their body, emotions, and surroundings interact. This allows us to choose strategies that support regulation, reduce stress, and lead to sustainable behavior change without relying on suppression. 🎯 The assessment focuses on one primary concern, with clear, actionable guidance aimed at improving daily life for both you and your dog. When a behavior reflects a broader pattern or requires additional support, additional sessions may be recommended to ensure sustainable progress and long-term well-being. ⏺️ The session is voice recorded for reference. From this recording, you’ll receive a concise, point-by-point summary along with any relevant resources or links discussed, ensuring clarity and continuity during follow-up support.
