Doggy Daycare At DogMindful, my doggy daycare service offers a calm, fun, and loving alternative to busy commercial daycares. Your dog spends the day in a peaceful home environment where emotional safety, choice, and healthy social interactions are prioritized. There’s no chaos, no overcrowding, and no high-arousal play—just thoughtful, supportive care rooted in understanding each dog’s stress levels, communication, and natural needs. Daycare takes place in my quiet detached home in Lakeview, Mississauga. The fully fenced six-foot yard provides safe outdoor time for exploration and play, and the neighbourhood offers plenty of green spaces for slow, scent-rich walks that help dogs decompress and settle into the day. It’s a setting that feels safe, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable for dogs who need a softer approach. Because your dog is spending the day with a behavior professional, they receive more than supervision—they receive support. I provide appropriate exercise based on their needs, low-pressure social experiences, rest breaks, and gentle reinforcement of calm manners and everyday life skills. Many dogs leave daycare feeling more balanced, grounded, and content. Your dog will share the main living space with my own dog, Tater—a calm, friendly, 5-year-old neutered male rescue from Manitoba (95 lbs). Tater is known for his respectful communication and often supports fearful or reactive dogs in my training sessions. All daycare bookings include a meet-and-match with Tater to ensure comfort and compatibility for both dogs. Daycare Rates Half Day: $35 + HST (up to 5 hours) Full Day: $55 + HST (up to 10 hours; additional time charges apply) Pickup/Drop-off is available starting at $25 + HST, depending on location. Dogs with behavioral challenges are welcome on a limited basis so they can receive the structure and support they need—please reach out for individualized suitability and rates.
