Rescue Dog Integration | Decompression This package offers two pathways: a pre-arrival integration setup for dogs arriving soon, or a behavioral assessment for newly adopted dogs needing decompression support. What's Included ✅ 2.5–3 hr behavioral assessment or pre-arrival consultation (* For behavioral assessments: this includes time to review Dog Mindful Rescue Dog Integration Pre-Assessment Form Questionnaire ) ✅ Full written summary ✅ Customized coaching plan with weekly homework ✅ Three (3) x 20-minute follow-up sessions (via Google Meet or WhatsApp) ✅ Resources, reading materials, instructional videos as needed ✅ Optional between-session support (scope discussed in advance) ⏺️ Sessions are voice recorded for reference. You'll receive a point-by-point summary with relevant resources, ensuring clarity during follow-ups. 📍 Location: Based on your dog's needs. For fearful or shutdown dogs, sessions are in-home. Otherwise, assessments take place at my facility, West Avenue, Lakeview (Mississauga). Additional travel fees may apply outside service area. 💛 Sliding scale & reduced rates Sliding scale pricing is available for clients experiencing financial hardship or limited resources. Reduced rates are also available for approved rescue and return clients. If cost is a barrier, please reach out before booking so we can discuss options. ❤️ Paying full price helps extend support to others through the sliding scale. Overview This package supports newly adopted, fostered, or soon-to-arrive rescue dogs and their people through early transition and adjustment. Whether your dog is arriving soon or already home, the focus is understanding their responses in context and building safety, trust, and stability through customized guidance. Best suited for the first days and weeks following or preceding arrival. Or for rescue dogs struggling with decompression well after their arrival home.
